How FlowQuest Works
From picking a room to defeating bosses: the complete FlowQuest journey, explained step-by-step.
Pick Your Quest Room
Choose your arena: Castle (medieval), Wizard (mystical), RPG (fantasy), or Sound (chill ambient). Each room has its own atmosphere to set your focus mood.
Set Your Focus Interval
Default is 25 min focus + 5 min break (Pomodoro). But you can customize. Casual study? 50/10. Deep work? 90/15. Your choice.
Start the Boss Fight
Hit 'Start' and the boss appears. Their HP bar = 100. Each minute you stay focused = 1 damage. Break focus? Boss heals. The tension keeps you locked in.
Complete Your Session
When the timer ends, you defeated the boss. Session XP is awarded. If you maintained focus? Bonus streak counter ticks up.
Claim Your Loot
Win the fight, get loot drops (weapons, armor, items). Rare drops from longer sessions or harder focus days. Equip them to boost future XP gain.
Share & Collaborate
Share your room link with friends/team. See live who's focusing with you. Accounta ability + vibe of working together in the same space.
Track Your Growth
Heatmaps show when you focus best. Analytics dashboard reveals your peak hours, longest streaks, total focus time. AI insights suggest optimization.
Level Up & Explore
XP unlocks new regions (Verdant Grove, Crystal Caves, Deep Dungeon). Each region has unique bosses and exclusive loot. Progress = discovery.

Do I need an account?
No. Start focusing immediately. Your progress saves locally on your device. Optional account for cloud sync + Pro features.
Does it work offline?
Yes! Once loaded, the timer and boss fight work offline. Progress syncs when you're back online.
Can I pause the timer?
No. That's the point—commitment matters. But you can have a break after every session. Boss resets.
What's the difference between themes?
All rooms have the same gameplay. But Castle = orchestral music, Wizard = mystic sounds, RPG = epic battle music, Sound = minimal ambiance. Pick what keeps you focused.
Do streaks reset?
Yes, if you miss a day. But your total focus time + character level + equipment all stay. Only active streaks reset.
How do I upgrade to Pro?
In-app or on our pricing page. Instant unlock of boss fights, loot, guilds, analytics. Free plan users can still focus—just no RPG features.
